Fencing, decking and gates done properly
From a single storm-damaged panel to a full boundary, security fencing or a new deck, we supply and fit timber that is built square, level and made to stand up to a Yorkshire winter.
Domestic Fencing
Close-board and feather-edge garden fencing on concrete posts and gravel boards. Plain or decorative stone-effect boards, straight or arched-top panels, supplied and fitted to last.
Security Fencing
Palisade, V mesh and chain link fencing for boundaries, yards and commercial plots. Hard-wearing security lines that keep a site locked down and stand up to the weather.
Decking
Timber decking, spindle balustrades and newel-post rails that turn a patio or garden into usable space. Built square, level and finished neatly.
Gates
Made-to-measure timber gates, side gates and driveway gates, braced and hung on heavy-duty hinges so they swing true for years.
Gravel Boards & Posts
Concrete posts and gravel boards, plain or decorative, to lift timber off the ground and stop rot. The right base makes any fence last longer.
Composite Fencing & Decking
Composite fencing and decking for added longevity. Many shades of composite available with matching gates fitted into concrete or aluminium posts.

Rated 5.0 by South Yorkshire homeowners
A genuine 5.0 average from more than 170 reviews. Here is what a few of them said.
“The lads that came and put it up were Nathan, Conway, Ted and Dane. Lovely, cracked on with the job, took a couple of hours when I was expecting an all-day job. Very polite, cleaned up, and asked before they did anything to make sure it was how we wanted things. They are a credit to the company. One very happy customer.”
“Had a side fence replaced by Stef and his fabulous crew. From getting the job priced to the finished product I could not have been more impressed. Reasonably priced and top quality materials.”
“Had two gates installed today. Good quality gates and looking great. Thank you!”
“We are very happy with the fence installation. The work was done professionally, quickly, and with great attention to detail. Everything looks amazing and the quality is excellent. The team was friendly, reliable, and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommended!”
“S&R Fencing did a great job with the fence, and even put 2 hedgehog holes at the bottom for our little visitors. They completed it in a day, and tidied around before they left. I would definitely recommend them.”
“Would highly recommend S&R Fencing to anyone. I had some fencing removed and replaced, which was a difficult job due to the location, some original fencing strengthened and a gate installed. The service was excellent from start to finish.”
“Extremely happy with our fences that we wanted put up for more privacy in our back garden. They were quick and efficient but took great attention to detail. Everyone we have been in contact with from S&R Fencing Contractors has been lovely as well, thank you.”
